The Result chair was designed in 1958 by Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld in the Netherlands. A year later, the matching Pyramid collection followed. For its re-edition, Hay collaborated with Ahrend, the original manufacturer of the piece. Steel plates are bent to create the organic shape of the frame. At the time, this was considered to be an innovative process which was celebrated for its success. Thanks to this method, lightness and stability could be combined. The re-edition of the cult piece of furniture is also made from bent steel plates. With a seat and back made of veneered oak, the chair is inviting despite its industrial flair.
