Thorvald is a modern collection of outdoor furniture designed by Space Copenhagen, in homage to Copenhagen’s renowned neo-classical artist and the atmosphere of the city itself.
With its sculptural silhouettes, the Thorvald Collection is a nod to Bertel Thorvaldsen’s mastery of form, rhythmic lines, and the eponymous museum housing his extraordinary sculptures. Culminating in a versatile collection that encourages theart of outdoor living - anywhere in the world.

Reflecting the designers’ affinity for concepts with an equilibrium of opposites, the chairs’ transparent-like countenance is juxtaposed against the tabletops, which are solid shapes in various-sized circles and squares. Much like Thorvaldsen’s sculptures, each piece is designed to be appealing from any angle. It all reflects &Tradition’s overall intention with the Thorvald Collection: for people to pause, reflect, and take in the sights and sounds of their environment.
