Cuttings boards Muller van Severen

Muller Van Severen is infatuated with the material called polyethylene and these cutting boards are a proof of that. It has a soft feel and a certain sensitivity to it. Initially Muller Van Severen planned to simply create a sculpture with this material, call it a tribute. Along the way the sculpture became functionalized.
The result consists of a set of overlaying cutting boards that can be hung against the wall.

Packed in a nice giftbox with certificate signed by the designers.

Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen are basically artists, it is natural that their collection is somewhere between design and art - it is furniture: tables, seats, shelves or lights - but the form is not just about function and suggests different ways of living and using space.
