Squared terrazzo table

The Terrazzo table from Hay is a versatile table for outdoor and indoor use. The table is developed and designed for environments where quality and durability is required, for example: cafés, restaurant, gardens, terraces or balconies. For this reason the designer Daniel Enoksson has chosen certain materials that can withstand the special conditions in the outdoor area. The square table top is made of durable powder-coated steel, whereas the base is made of solid terrazzo. Despite its robust features it looks colourful and somehow playful, so that a deliberate stylistic break between plate and base is created. The Terrazzo basically has the qualities of concrete, but unlike concrete the material has an expressive and fantastic surface that doesn’t go unnoticed.
