A musical journey through the fascinating world of Kingston, birthplace of biblical Rastafari and Reggae.
From the backstreets of Trench Town, the astonishing district with walls brimming with splendid colourful frescoes and messages of peace, we stop off at Tuff Gong Studios, a mecca for Reggae stars.
Everywhere in Jamaica's capital hovers a bewitching, delicious scent of woody, earthy vetiver with a hint of patchouli and fresh green grapefruit.
Because of its favourable climate, the island of Awaji is home to the best incense on the planet.
Following a tradition handed down from father to son for over a thousand years, they are handcrafted by the Koh-shis, or aroma masters.
They alone have complete mastery of the four stages of production: measuring out the exclusively natural ingredients, precious woods, herbs and plants, plant resins and fragrance.
The dough is kneaded, pressed and worked for a long time, then left to rest for a fortnight so that the fragrance is fully impregnated.
The rolled dough is cut into long, narrow ribbons.
Dry in the west wind for three days, then bundle the sticks.

Safety precautions: light the end of a stick with a match, blow out the flame and leave to smoke.
Place the stick in a censer or a bowl filled with sand. Do not place on a flammable surface or in a flammable environment.
