Plinth low table

This block of marble with its massive lines is inspired by the pedestals and plinths that have been used for centuries to showcase works of art.
With this project, the Danish design duo Norm Architects pay tribute to the natural beauty of marble, sublimated by the geometric purity of the form.
The table consists of a cubic internal structure in acacia wood covered with four slabs of real Carrara marble (1.5 cm thick).
This hollow structure makes it possible to reduce the weight.
