Archivist was founded in 1998. As the name suggests, it was in the archives of the Natural History Museum that they started. 
Although the archive has changed, the enthusiasm for image research has not. Collaborating with artists from around the world, they created a range of British cards, prints and, most importantly, luxury matches.
Ink and paper have always been the central ingredients of their business and now that they own the largest letterpress printing facility in Britain, they have the means to take their quality and innovation to even higher levels. 

Matchbox printed on a vintage press. Contains 45 matches, each measuring 280 mm long.

Containing extra long match sticks, they make lighting fires and storm lanterns a breeze!
